The seeking Hand
This illustration is inspired by the idea of an artist constantly seeking perfection, while also playing with the meta idea of "me using this project as a means to improve my hands and anatomy drawing skill". I wanted the entire piece to have a graphical appeal to it and I sprinkled it with elements of surrealism and psychedelic art, hence I made the background predominantly flat creating a huge contrast against the precisely rendered foreground.
This second version is an experimental exploration of the previous one. The whole point of this illustration was to push the visual appeal further while still maintaining the original theme of the artwork. I call this version "The seeking hand - Dawn"
